4th of July Bloopers (Can they be any Cuter?)

At the beginning of the summer, I enrolled KD in the Ogden City Summer Parks Program. So, Mon-Fri she goes to Grandview park and they have games, activities, crafts, and field trips that are supervised by "councilors". The other day, I had arrived to pick her up when one of the councilors came up to me. She said, "I have to tell you this. We were all sitting down thinking of ideas for Theme Days the kids want to have when KD, with her cute little voice, raised her hand and said ' "We should have a Repentance Day"'. The councilors thought this was the cutest thing. I asked KD later, wondering what she was really thinking, what exactly they would do for a Repentance Day. "Oh, you know mom, sing songs, wave flags, have a parade, and watch fireworks". I said, "Oh, you meant an Independance Day". She looked at me like "Duh!" and said "Yeah, that's what I said!"
Then on the 4th, during the firewords show, Kyla kept yelling "Happy Birthday, Mary! Happy Birthday, Mary!" I asked "Mary who"? She said "Mary, mom! Happy Birthday Mary-Kuh!"
Love it!!!

Octo-Dogs

I got creative one night for dinner, and decided to make Alredo Shells and Octo-Dogs. This is how they turned out. Pretty cute, I say! I added alfredo sauce to cooked shell pasta, cut some hotdogs to resemble octopusses (octopussi?), boiled the dogs so that the legs would curl, and put it all together with some Goldfish crackers. Oh, and I added mustard eyes to the octo-dogsto complete it. They looked neat, and tasted great!

It's all about the Booty!

Pirate's Booty, that is! All of us love it, but Kamryn can put it away like it's nobody's business.

She got ahold of this bag before we were all up in the morning. Needless to say she did not eat a lot of breakfast.

What's in the Suitcase?

I wonder what it could be?

What the...?

Ta Da! Oh, the many skills of KD!

They Must be Sisters

Since Jason and KD love playing the Wii, it follows that Kyla must like it, too. Right? Well it's apparently all in the family (excluding me), because Kamryn loves to play as well. She doesn't know what she's doing yet (just give her time), but we give her a Wii-mote that's not being used and she feels like she's helping.
Love it!
