Our 4th er...3rd of July

Our 3rd this year was pretty cool! We had a great breakfast up at our church building (yea, free food!), KD was in her first parade (in Riverdale) with her Daisy Girl Scout troop, and I got to ride with her! Unfortunately we had to sit on hay bails and my allergies went haywire. Jason, unfortunately, had to go to work after that. Then we went out to lunch with my parents, then the kids and I ran some errands. Later that night, after Jason got home, we went to see the Riverdale fireworks. We found a little known, FABULOUS spot in the parking lot of Convergys. I think we'll go there next year, too!

These pictures are of KD and I on the Girl Scouts float. So fun!

Here's Kyla wearing the way cool hat that Jason got her...

And heres Kamryn wearing that same hat. It's pretty big on her!

And here was the best float in the whole parade. There was a gal in a wedding dress and a guy in a tux, and everyone kept yelling out to them "Congratulations!" They weren't really married. Ha!

Biggest Smile Ever!

I love this girls smile! She always has a huge one for me whenever she sees me, it makes me feel so good! She can be screaming in someone elses arms, but as soon as mommy gets her or looks at her, out comes the grin. Loves it!!

Kyla and her Scooter

Summer Fun!

Here's some pics of the girls on one of the MANY hot days we've had. They were having so much fun running around in the sprinklers, too b ad Kamryn's too young to join them!

KD's Big Week

This week KD had her AYSO/UK International Soccer Camp. She loved it! Every day this past week from 5-8pm, she went to camp and learned the ins and outs of playing soccer. She loved the running around, and especially loved her coaches. They were so much fun, all of them from the UK!
Here's KD on her first day. Everyday the kids had to bring their cleats, shin guards, sunscreen, water, and soccer ball.
This was Wacky Wednesday. The kids had to dress up wacky and walk down the "catwalk". Then the other kids chose who was the wackiest.

This was during one of their many scrimages, where KD was too busy picking flowers, playing with her shadow, or laying down, to play.

And here she is with her coaches. From L to R it's Will (he's from England), Jamie (Scotland-loved the accent!!!), and John (Wales). They were awesome with the kids. Will just got his degree in Sports Administration, Jamie is a soccer coach and teaches 3-5 year olds, and John is a lawer. KD adored them!
