My future Cosmetologist

I was sitting at our computer talking to my mom, and happened to look over into our bathroom. This is what I saw:
Kyla had gotten into my makeup brushes and was making her bear pretty. It was too cute!!!

Afterward, I had to make her look pretty, too. I pretended to put "makeups" on her, while telling her that she doesn't need makeups to look pretty. She's beautiful without it. But she said if her bear looks pretty then she has to look pretty, too. That put me in my place, I guess.

KD's Black Eye

Early this afternoon, while the girls were supposed to be laying down for thier nap, I heard this loud "thud" in their room. No one cried, and after a few minutes I yelled to see if they were alright. "Yeah, we're fine!" was the reply I got. A half hour later, we were in the living room trying on a new dress I had gotten for KD when I noticed her shiner. I asked her how she got it, and she said it was from when she fell. "When you fell?" I asked. "Actually mom, Kyla hit me". "She hit you?" "Uh, ...yeah. she hit me". Right. I guess i'll never know.

It looks horrible! So, yes she will be going out with her sunglasses for a while. Maybe not at night, though. That would be so 80's.

Kamryn the Kutie!

Isn't she adorable?! Three months old already, I can't believe it! The time seriously has flown by. I think the same thing when I look at my other two beautiful girls. But look at these cheeks! At times she'll get this look on her face and i'll think "Man, she looks just like Kyla", other times it's "Wow, that's a KD look". But most of the time she looks just like herself.

To copy Steph's blog, she's a "Kamryn Original". And yes, she does smile. I promise!

Iron Man's New Sidekick

Move over, War Machine! There's a new sidekick in town, and her name is...Kyla Man? Iron Girl? Whatever the name, bad guys will cave in the face of such cuteness! They won't stand a chance! LOL!

The Camp

The other day KD asked me if I knew how to make "camps". I said yes, and proceeded to make the one you see here. She and Kyla were playing for a little bit when I said I needed to take a picture. KD said "Wait! You forgot Kamryn!" So I had to go and put Kamryn in the picture, too. Even though you can't tell, they were really having fun. I promise. I don't remember why their arms were folded, though.

Schools Out!

I can't believe school is over. Goodbye Kindergarten, hello First Grade! My little girls is growing up so fast. Although, I think I was more sad than she was on her last day of school. Her teacher this past year was so great, and she made so many great friends, and learned so many new things....it's hard to believe that next year could be any better. Now if only I can think of some cool things to do between now and then!
Here's my girl on her first day of school....
And here she is on her last. Look at how much she's grown up! I'm going to start crying! She's so beautiful and so smart, and nice, and enthusiastic, and talented, and sweet, and...I could go on forever! I love you KD!!

KD's Last Soccer Game

Soccer is over for the year, so sad! KD loved it. She made a lot of new friends, and found a sport that she liked. She likes it so much that not only is going to play again next year, she'll also be going to Soccer Camp this summer! (Thank you Grampa Hess!) She's so excited!!
Here she is with her medal she got at the end of her last game. She was so proud of it, she took it to Show and Tell at school the next week.
Here she is Hi-Fiving the other team. KD's team won their last game! I don't think they won any of their other games this year, but they won their last!

Here's the whole team: Dylan, KD, Railey, McKinley, Megan, and Coach John. The "Blue Starz"!! KD came up with their name their very first practice and all the other girls liked it. That's my girl! I'm so proud you!!
