One Month Already!

Wow! This past month sure has gone by fast. Well, at times it's gone by fast. Other times...not so much. Kamryn has changed so much, though. She's already smiling and grinning, and cooing. It's so cute! She's such a mama's girl, too. She really won't calm down or be good unless i'm holding her. I love it, but it's frustrating at times. Like when I want to sleep and she doesn't want to. What a pill! This is her in one of her happy moods. She was grinning and cooing so I grabbed the camera!

My poor girl is going through puberty waaay early! Her poor face. And of course we're blessing her this Sunday. Perfect timing!

She was smiling really big here! I love it! I love her!! How blessed am I?

Kamryn's Blessing (Updated!)

Hi All!
Alright, we (or Jason I should say) will for sure be blessing Kamryn on Easter Sunday. After wondering about the where and when, it will be at my brother-in-law Brian's house after the last session of conference, around 4:30pm. Then after that we figured we'd have a pot-luck Easter/Blessing dinner. So if you're able to come please respond to this and let me know so I can make food assignments and give directions. Daddy's Magic Touch

This morning I laid Kamryn in her bed while I took a shower. She was awake and I figured if she cried, well she would probably just cry herself to sleep. Well, when I got out of the shower I found Jason and Kamryn in the rocker. He said she would not stop screaming. A few minutes later she fell asleep in his arms. When I went to pick up KD from school, he apparently tried to lay her down again and she promptly started screaming again and wouldn't stop unless he was holding her. So when they both fell asleep I had to take this picture. It's moments like this that remind me how thankful I am for my wonderful husband and beautiful family. Isn't life great?!

Kamryn's Blessing!

Hi Everyone!I thought you would like to know that we will be blessing Kamryn on Easter Sunday (April 4th). I know that seems pretty soon, but the reason we'll be doing it then is that my sister, and my dad and step-mom will be here. This will be the first of our babies that my dad's been here to see blessed. So all of you brothers and brothers-in-law who will be here are invited and welcome to stand in the circle with Jason. Now since it will be Easter, and everyone will have their own family shindigs to go to, I don't think we'll be doing a special luncheon or anything after so that everyone can do their own family things. If anyone feels differently let me know. So, again, we'll be blessing Kamryn on Easter, and anyone who can come our Sacrament meeting starts at 10:50am. Love you all!! */Brenna

Sisters!

We love our sisters! KD absolutely adores Kamryn, and Kyla has finally warmed up to her, too! KD is always wanting to hold her and look at her. At first Kyla wanted nothing to do with Kamryn, she wouldn't even come near her! But now that we're home and somewhat adjusted, Kyla loves her, too! She's always coming up and wanting to touch her hair. "Baby soft!" is what she says. I love my girls!!

Here's Kamryn!!

She's here! Kamryn Aubrie Hyde was born Sunday February 28th at 4:36pm. She weighed 8lbs. 7 inches, and 21 inches long. Big girl!! It was a short and relatively easy labor/delivery (6 hours). I say relatively easy because I was, and still am, suffering from a pretty bad cold, so that made things interesting. But oh, so worth it! This was taken just after her bath. See all her hair? We have no idea where she got it!

Biggest sister KD and littlest sister Kamryn. KD is so proud of her little sister. She always wanting to hold her and wants to help me whenver I have to change her. Kyla on the other hand, at first wanted nothing to do with her. She wouldn't get close to Kamryn to even take a picture with her! She's warmed up quite a bit since we got her home, though.

So here she is! Isn't she beautiful?! Just like her sisters. And now our next adventure begins. How exciting!!
