Two Months Today!

I can't believe two months have come and gone already! Kamryn has changed so much! She's cooing, moving more, holding her head upright when held, and is getting more fun. Of course she's also awake more, which means less sleep for me! But she's worth it!!!

All three of my babies! I know i'm biased but I think I have the cutest girls ever! Yes, they can be the biggest pills ever, but I love them anyway. KD and Kyla are still so in love with their baby sister, I hope it never ends!

Kompletely Kyla!

Here's a few pics of my cutie-petutie! A little bit ago Kyla came to me and said she wanted some stories. I thought she meant she wanted me to read to her. Nope! She wanted to read by herself. Then she had me get all the pillows in the house to support her back and put under her legs. She later asked me to bring her some water and a banana. Pre-madonna!!

The other pic was just too funny not to post!!

Blessing Day

After many posts, and schedule changes, it finally came! Kamryn's blessing day. And what a neat day it was. Jason gave a beautiful blessing and standing in the circle was my dad, my other-dad Mike, Grandpa Hyde, Bert, and Uncles Tucker, Brian, and Ben. Then afterwards, we went over to Bud and Kassandra's house for lunch and cake (it was KD's birthday the next day). It was such a great day, made even greater by the fact that my dad was able to be there (see previous post!) as was my other-dad Mike who was able to be home. He's a long-haul truck driver. Kamryn was a little fussy during the blessing, but got really fussy toward the end. Oh, well. At least she looked gorgeous!! ;-)

Too cute!!

My Dad's Visit!

My dad took a trip up here this past weekend to meet his newest grandbaby for the first time, to see his other grandbaby's and to see me of course (though I come in a distant third!). It was so good to see him! I miss him so much and every time he leaves i'm reminded of that 80's song "Every Time You Go Away (you take a piece of me with you)". While he was here he was able to participate in Kamryn's blessin (which was so special!) and be here for KD's birthday. She's 6 now! I can't believe it. We went to the Aquarium on Saturday, and then to the Zoo on Monday (KD's actual birthday). It was a great visit, but as usual ended way too soon! At the zoo with my Dad, KD, Kyla, and a long lost relative!
A rare, quiet, peaceful moment with Kamryn. Why is it she's always good for other people and not me?

Blessing Day Part 2

Yes, yes, all of the above items (the hair bow, pacifier clip, and bracelet) I made! That's right! I did! I think they turned out soo cute!!

My handsome dad, and his newest grandbaby. She was cranky in the other photo I took of the two of them, but calmed right down as soon as she got the bink in her mouth. My sweet other-mom Kim wasn't able to come with him, though. I miss her!

Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Burp (as KD calls him)!

My mom and wonderful (other)dad Mike.

A pic of all of us (including my girlfriends ;) Even though she smiled for all the pictures we took, Kyla would not look at the camera. Little stinker!!

The Other Village Person

The other night KD got out her Home Depot play set and her and Kyla went around the house fixing things that "were broke." KD (since she was older) got to use the "tools" while Kyla got to wear the gear. But of course in true Kyla fashion, her ensemble wasn't complete without some accessories. The camera died shortly after this so I wasn't able to get a picture of the complete ensemble: she added her pink snowboots. Priceless!

Easter Pics

Here are some of our pictures from our egg hunt. Kyla wouldn't put her chocolate bunny down at all while she looked for eggs. And KD swore that the Easter Bunny had help from his birdie friends because all of her eggs were way up high! They had lots of fun, and we had more fun watching them have fun! Then after we were done, we added their Easter candy to what was left of their Halloween candy. The girls found some glow-in-the-dark fangs and decided to try them on. Hoppy Halloween-oops! I mean Easter!
